The Divide Fire Protection District's Fire Team provides not only structural and wildland fire suppression, but also vehicle extraction and fire suppression for traffic accidents.
The structural side of Divide Fire Protection District's Fire Team also has many levels of expertise that every member trains countless hours for. Members are qualified Colorado State Certified Fire Fighter I and II Fire Fighters. Firefighters are trained in pumps, as well as vehicle extraction and stabilization.
Divide Fire Protection District's Fire team's structural side has many levels of expertise that not only requires many hours of training but task books to reach certain levels. There are many FFT2's as well as FFT1's and even some ENGB's With the Wildland Fire Team, Divide Fire Protection District now sends members and engines out of district and out of state to help fight fires. This provides our members with valuable experience and knowledge to bring home and share with all Divide Fire Protection District Members.
Divide Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
